MediaCom has been awarded digital media responsibilities in the U.S. for Subway, the media services agency announced today.

The new announcement of Universal Music Group (UMG), the world’s leading music company, selecting MediaCom as its the media agency of record in the U.S., expands UMG’s existing relationship with MediaCom, which now handles media services for UMG in Europe, Canada and Australia.

A GroupM realignment announcement calls for Christine Fuller, Managing Partner, Director of Implementation at MEC and John Miles, Managing Partner, Director of Investments for MediaCom to move into new leadership roles at GroupM agencies.

In this role, Jeffery Hinz will oversee the agency’s entire digital operation as well as provide thought leadership and strategic guidance for all existing and emerging digital media initiatives.

In this new role as Managing Partner, Director of Direct Response Marketing, Jason Lim will build out the agency’s direct response practice across all media, and lead MediaCom’s DIRECTV account team.

In his new role as Chief Strategy Officer for MediaCom, Chris Pyne will provide strategic leadership across account teams to better understand and connect the agency’s work with the overall business strategies of its clients, and to direct MediaCom’s thinking for the future.

Sarah Leach, named Director of Strategy, for MediaCom U.S., will oversee the development of MediaCom’s communications and strategic planning practice.

MediaCom announced today that Euan Jarvie, formerly Chief Client Officer for the agency, has been elevated to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer, MediaCom U.S.
