Sixth Annual 4A’s Face of Talent Event Expands to a Full Week of Activities

Multicultural Students Will Connect with Advertising Agency Leaders to Discuss Careers

NEW YORK, NY – July 26, 2016 – This August, the 4A’s will host the Face of Talent—the advertising industry’s premier event celebrating and engaging top diverse talent. Building on the success of last year’s event, the sixth annual conference will extend into a weeklong symposium where top industry leaders will gather to discuss and address the biggest issues in the industry: talent and diversity.

The event will unite more than 130 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) fellows and select4A’s Foundation scholars who represent the future of talent in advertising. Developed in 1973, MAIP connects diverse and aspiring entry-level advertising professionals with leading agencies across the country. Since its inception MAIP has had vast success promoting diversity and opportunity, placing more than 2,800 multicultural students into paid full-time summer internships.

“Attracting and retaining the smartest, most diverse talent is a top priority for us here at the 4A’s,” said Nancy Hill, President and CEO of the 4A’s. “Through events such as the Face of Talent, we will engage with advertising professionals at all levels and give them the tools to continue their professional development; we believe that this will help the industry continue to innovate and grow.”

The host of this year’s events is Lauren E. Johnson, brand group director at Horizon Media and MAIP fellow from the 2006 class. Events include:
