The next cohort is TBD

After huge success at Cannes Lions, True & North is bringing this Masterclass to 4As members virtually.

You know that incredible feeling of having a big, bold idea, the idea that can shift perceptions and behaviours, making a true impact and difference in the world? This workshop will teach you how to bury that idea – before it’s even born.

Join David Clayton, Founder of True & North as he shows you the skills needed to prepare for the unknown and give your ideas the best chance of sign-off and ultimately success.

You will:

  • Envision and mitigate risks before they occur
  • Safeguard your biggest and boldest ideas
  • Find the people who could make or break your idea.

This session will answer:

  • How to shift your mindset from ‘Coming up with the Big Idea’ to ‘Making Big Ideas Happen’.
  • How to use the Pre-Mortem tool to learn how to mitigate risks and protect your best ideas, making sure they happen in the way that is right for you.
  • How to feel more confident when pitching and delivering bold ideas and projects.

Meet the Facilitator

David Clayton started his career tending bars in South Beach, Miami and in the Hamptons, where client-centricity is crucial. He went on to lead commercial teams at The Guardian, selling partnerships to the likes of Google, IDEO, Vodafone and the United Nations and creating the Guardian Media Academy, the brand’s first foray into training.

In 2011, David founded True & North – with one question in mind: How can we enable anyone to be excited by and to master their client conversations?

When he is not delivering workshops across the globe David is in Portugal, trying to catch a few waves.

“True & North’s approach is completely aligned with our strategic and creative development approaches. So it hasn’t gone against the grain of how we already operate but accelerated many of the opportunities we need to unlock with our existing clients.”
