Module 1: Understanding Emotional Intelligence and how it impacts your success as a leader

  • Gain an understanding of the components of Emotional Intelligence.
  • Learn about the benefits of having strong EQ in an agency environment.
  • Self-assess your EQ.
  • Between Modules 1 and 2, complete the Hogan Emotional Assessment (Assessment will be sent out)

 

Module 2: Assessing and evaluating your Emotional Intelligence using the Hogan Assessment tool

  • Understand how to read your Hogan EQ assessment.
  • Compare your Self-assessment to your Hogan assessment –  to deepen your self-awareness.
  • Dig into your personal results to better understand your areas of strength and opportunity.

 

Module 3: Agency case studies that demonstrate EQ in action

  • Learn how the differences between low, medium, and high EQ can impact your effectiveness as a leader via agency-specific case studies.
  • Discuss specific challenges you may be facing and identify how to best utilize your emotions to create effective responses.

 

Module 4: Creating your Emotional Intelligence development plan

  • Build a customized action plan that will help you stay accountable to continuing to grow/develop your Emotional Intelligence

Michele Mavi started her career in talent acquisitions and quickly became a thought leader in the space. In addition to having held executive roles in talent development and training, she has successfully coached hundreds of professionals through career advancement and has often been quoted in publications such as Fast Company, Inc., US News & World Reports, Glamour, and Business Insider among others.

Over the years her focus shifted from helping individuals make career changes to making organizations better places to work.

She is certified in Positive Psychology Coaching, and certified in various assessments such as Gallup Strengths Hogan Assessments and TKI. She is thrilled to be a part of the 4As Learning Institute where she specializes in leadership development and team dynamics.

Kristin Bloomquist

Kristin Bloomquist is a veteran of the advertising industry and has spent her 30+ year career working not only for leading agencies such as DDB, JWT, Deutsch, and Cramer-Krasselt but also on the client and consulting sides of the business. She led marketing for TGI Fridays and worked as a Senior Partner at SelectResources International for 5 years.

Kristin is also a trained coach. She founded bloom mentoring in 2017. bloom offers one-on-one leadership development and career coaching for people in the advertising business. Kristin’s approach is grounded in a successful career focused on building brands, building businesses, and most importantly, building the people and teams involved. Kristin’s unique perspective and innate ability to understand people and their individual needs, styles, and abilities are what allow her to provide objective, actionable mentoring for her clients.
