Module 1: What does Leadership look like?
- Learn the 5 Levels of Leadership
- Deconstructing high-performance teams
- Understand the implications of a Fixed vs. Growth mindset for yourself, your team, and your work
- Learn how to identify and mitigate team dysfunction
Module 2: Communicating for Impact
- Learn how to communicate more effectively and inclusively in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Learn how to change individual and team performance through different types of feedback
- Learn how to flex your style to guide teamwork and promote collaboration
Module 3: Effective Strategies for Managing the Work
- Making meetings more effective and creating communication norms
- Learn how to inspire through goal setting and planning as a People leader vs. a Task manager
- Learning how and when to delegate
Module 4: Investing in Your Relationship with Your Employees
- Understand the Power of Recognition
- How to build and leverage emotional intelligence(EI) and Emotional Quotient (EQ) with your team
- Fostering employee engagement
- How to be a manager coach
Module 5: Promoting Mental Wellness
- Understand the state of mental health and the mental health spectrum
- Understand the significance of your own mental health, stress, resilience, and recovery
- Promote team wellbeing
- Understand what you are and are not responsible for when it comes to accommodations and boundaries
Module 6: Growing into Leadership
- Leverage a Gallup StrengthsFinder to identify and develop your own leadership style
- Apply a strengths-based approach to team and employee development
- Revisit the concept of leadership and the impact of labels
Requirements for Certification
- Attendance at 6 live virtual workshops
- Completion of online course modules
- Submission of Team Vision portfolio
In addition to session participation and online content completion, participants create a team planning document that addresses the actions they will take to promote team culture, belonging, and performance.
Meet the Facilitator
Michele Mavi

Michele Mavi started her career in talent acquisitions and quickly became a thought leader in the space. In addition to having held executive roles in talent development and training, she has successfully coached hundreds of professionals through career advancement and has often been quoted in publications such as Fast Company, Inc., US News & World Reports, Glamour, and Business Insider among others.
Over the years her focus shifted from helping individuals make career changes to making organizations better places to work.
She is certified in Positive Psychology Coaching, and certified in various assessments such as Gallup Strengths Hogan Assessments and TKI. She is thrilled to be a part of the 4As Learning Institute where she specializes in leadership development and team dynamics.
