Bill Koenigsberg is the CEO, and Founder of Horizon Media, the world's largest independent media agency. He established Horizon in 1989 with a clear vision: to prioritize strategic leadership and client service, underpinned by the belief that "business is personal." This philosophy has propelled Horizon's evolution into a data-driven marketing powerhouse, managing over $8.5 billion in client investments and employing more than 2,400 professionals.
Under Koenigsberg's leadership, Horizon has garnered numerous accolades for creativity, innovation, and marketing effectiveness. The agency was named MediaPost's 2023 Media Agency of the Year and has previously been honored as Media Agency of the Year by Advertising Age, Adweek, Mediaweek, and Brandweek. He has served as Chairman of the 4A’s Board of Directors, the board for Local Planet, and the board of the International Radio and Television Society (IRTS). His contributions have been recognized with the IRTS Foundation's Hall of Mentorship Award and honors from the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB) and the Power of Urban Radio Alliance for his leadership in promoting industry diversity and inclusion.
Philanthropy is integral to Koenigsberg's ethos. He has been honored with the Reisenbach Foundation’s Distinguished Citizen Award for his efforts to create a safer New York City, the National Kidney Foundation’s Visionary Leader Award, and City Harvest’s Star of the City Award for his ongoing support.
