Ana Rodriguez
President
Ana is the leader of Conill and responsible for strategic operations across the agency and integration within Publicis Groupe's global offering.
She was directly involved with the transformation of T-Mobile from a Hispanic market entrant into a serious competitor, contending for the #2 position in the category despite significantly lower marketing investment.
She is credited with two of the most successful Hispanic market automotive launches, with integrated communication efforts that substantially grew market share and earned industry accolades for Toyota’s Tundra and Camry.
Annie started her career at Premier Maldonado & Associates in Puerto Rico, where directed the planning, development and execution of marketing plans for clients such as: Unilever, CPC International, M&M/Mars, Walgreens and Sony.
In 1989, she co-founded Otro Marketing Approach Inc. (OMA), one of the most prestigious promotional firms in Puerto Rico. At OMA, Annie was involved in the development and implementation of direct consumer promotional programs for Procter & Gamble, General Mills and M&M/Mars, among others.
Veronica Elizondo
Chief Creative Officer
With over 20 years of experience in advertising and design, Veronica’s passion for great ideas and visual language serves as the inspiration for our teams to create memorable and noteworthy campaigns.
Since joining Conill in 2005 as an Art Director, Veronica has amassed experience with numerous brands and categories, including Alaska Airlines, Aflac, Budweiser, Nestlé, T-Mobile and Toyota, among others.
Veronica’s work has earned accolades at Cannes, D&AD, Clios, One Show, FIAP, El Sol and the Effies. In recognition of her achievements, she was named among the “5 Hispanic shop creatives you need to know” by Digiday.
Veronica is perhaps best known as the architect of Toyota’s Mas Que Un Auto (More Than Cars) campaign which celebrated the automakers tenth consecutive year as the top brand among Latinos. The effort resulted in the highest user-generated content in the history of the brand and went on to earn two Cannes Lions and One Show pencils.
As part of the team that helped establish Conill’s office in Dallas, TX, Veronica played an important leadership role in harmonizing creative operations across the agency.
Veronica began her career developing graphic design and corporate identity projects for both national and international brands, in her hometown of Monterrey, Mexico.
Laura Semple
Chief Strategy Officer
Laura was recently appointed Conill's head of strategy after spending 7 years pioneering the practice of content strategy across the agency's roster of clients.
Prior to rejoining Conill in 2012, Laura was VP, Director of Human Nature for Arnold Worldwide in Boston, where she led strategic planning for McDonald’s (National Breakfast, NY, New England, DC and Minneapolis regions), Progressive Insurance and Carbonite (back-up solution). She also worked closely with Engagement Planning, Media and Integrated Analytics teams to inform consumer journeys, engagement plans and ecosystems.
During her previous tenure as Conill’s Chief Strategy Officer through 2010, Laura was responsible for Hispanic market strategy of all clients. She was a member of the Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide Xploring team.
Diana Stumvoll
Chief Media/Communications Officer
Diana helps ensure that clients are reaching the right audience on the right platform at the right time. She began her career at Univision more than 20 years ago, working closely with many of the pioneers in the U.S. Hispanic market. Univision gave her the opportunity to work in sales across a number of media platforms, from network TV to Univision.com—launching the latter as one of the industry’s first Hispanic players in the digital space.
With a successful sales career under her belt, Diana turned to agency life, helping Conill grow and develop its digital business in the U.S. Hispanic market with major global brands like Toyota. Then she shifted gears again, making big improvements in Microsoft’s Hispanic business over a three-year period before returning to Conill in her current role.
Above all, Diana loves a challenge. Her rare combination of deep sales experience plus deep agency experience gives her a unique perspective on media strategy, and she’s gained considerable insight during her years as a pioneer and evangelist for cable and digital in the Hispanic market. She has a startup mindset, and she thrives on growing a business from the ground up. In her personal time, she’s an avid equestrian and a self-described “health nut.”
