Susan Gianinno
Chairman
Based in New York, Susan Gianinno is Chairman of Publicis Worldwide’s newly created North America region and a member of Publicis COMEX (Global Executive Committee). Susan joined Publicis Groupe in 2003 as Chairman and CEO of Publicis Worldwide in the USA. She was previously Chairman and President of D’Arcy Worldwide and prior to that was CEO at J. Walter Thompson New York. Susan joined JWT from BBDO where she was a Board Member and Executive Director of Global Accounts and also spent twelve years at Y&R as EVP, Worldwide Client Managing Director. A pioneer in her field, Susan was the first woman to serve on the Board of Directors at all four companies.
She was honored with the MATRIX Award for Women in Communications and has recently been recognized by Advertising Age as one of the “100 Most Influential Women in Advertising.” A psychologist by training with Masters Degrees from University of Chicago and Northwester University in Comparative Psychology, Susan has been published in numerous professional journals.
Susan is a Founding Member of Boston College’s Council on Women and received Boston College’s Excellence in Commerce Award.
The recipient of numerous industry honors, Susan is a member of the YWCA's Academy of Women Achievers and was selected by Advertising Age as one of the best and brightest "women to watch." She was honored with the MATRIX Award for Women in Communications and has recently been recognized by Advertising Age as one of the “100 Most Influential Women in Advertising”. Susan served as a non-partisan advisor to George H.W. Bush’s Task Force on Terrorism from 1985-1992. She has published articles in professional journals focused on several psychological topics including the contributors to well-being and happiness. Susan is a Founding Member of Boston College’s Council on Women and received Boston College’s Excellence in Commerce Award.
Andrew Bruce
CEO, Publicis North America
Andrew is the CEO of Publicis Kaplan Thaler and is responsible for agency management of client services, strategic planning, operations and new business. Andrew is also the President and CEO of Publicis Worldwide’s newly created North America region.
In 1999, Andrew joined Publicis Worldwide’s Toronto office with a mandate to reshape and reinvigorate a floundering operation. Andrew oversaw and fueled 10 consecutive years of growth. Rising to President and CEO, Andrew took an agency struggling to attract top talent and business to one of Canada’s most respected agencies, entrusted with a client roster featuring iconic brands such as Rogers, WestJet, Purolator, Labatt and Chrysler. Under his leadership, Andrew instilled an entrepreneurial culture that made Publicis Canada the best place to work in the entire Publicis Worldwide network, as evidenced by the internal global satisfaction survey.
Andrew has an innate passion for this industry. He is deeply involved with the Institute of Communication Agencies as the Chairman of the Board and chairs the association’s largest annual event, the FFWD Advertising and Marketing Week.
Carla Serrano
Chief Strategy Officer
Carla is a new addition to the Publicis Kaplan Thaler family, having just joined this year to lead strategy development across digital, brand planning, analytics and social channels. A leading planning expert, she brings over 20 years of experience in brand strategy and integrated communications through her work on many of the world’s most successful global brands.
Carla began her advertising career at Chiat/Day Toronto at a time when account planning was an emerging discipline in North America. From the start, she worked on iconic brands including Apple and Nissan, then Pepsi and Frito-Lay while at BBDO. Carla then moved to New York to rejoin TBWA Chiat/Day where she helped embed and cultivate the agency’s creative strategy process and rose to become TBWA’s Chief Strategy Officer.
Before arriving at PKT, Carla was the CEO of Naked Communications in the US and helped diversify the engagement-planning consultancy to include brand strategy based on behavioral science. Naked has helped many global brands like Coca-Cola and Weight Watchers drive their businesses by harnessing behavior change and implementing modern integrated platforms for their consumer segments.
Dawn Winchester
Chief Digital Officer
A world-class digital and marketing leader with over 20 years of experience, Dawn just joined Publicis North America as the Chief Digital Officer to spearhead the agency’s digital transformation.
Most recently, Dawn was Chief Marketing Services Officer at R/GA, where she spent the past 14 years of her career. As a key architect of R/GA, Dawn has produced some of the most successful and award-winning case studies in digital marketing, products and services for leading global brands including Bank of America, Coca-Cola, Capital One, Microsoft, Nike, Samsung, Unilever, Verizon and Wal-Mart.
Prior to R/GA, Dawn was VP/Management Supervisor of Ammirati Puris Lintas Digital, where she managed the Ameritech and UPS accounts. Before that she founded and directed BK&S Interactive, the interactive marketing division of New York ad agency BK&S. While there, she developed interactive strategies and campaigns for key clients.
Dawn holds a BA in Literature from NYU.
Kevin Sweeney
Chief Financial Officer
Kevin has been a part of Publicis Groupe since 2000, when he joined as Vice President, Corporate Finance. Since then he has held several Chief Financial Officer positions within the Groupe, including Kaplan Thaler Group, Publicis Life Brands, Publicis Health Media and now Publicis Worldwide, North America.
In his role, Kevin oversees all client finance, commercial and operations activities across two countries, ten offices and many global and national clients. This includes negotiating contracts, compensation agreements and developing agency operating models across all Publicis North America offices.
Kevin earned his undergraduate degree from Siena College and went on to earn a Masters of Business Administration in finance from Fordham University. Prior to joining Publicis, he began his advertising career at Lowe and Partners Worldwide.
Kevin is a member of the 4As Finance Committee and is based in New York City. He currently lives with his wife and three children in Northport, NY.
Julie Levin

Julie Levin is Chief Marketing Officer, North America of Publicis Worldwide. In her role, she oversees all Publicis North America marketing and business development, including Canada, Hawkeye and AR New York.
This post is a return to NYC after serving as Chief Growth Officer for The Martin Agency in Richmond, VA. Prior to that she graced the boardrooms of BBH, mcgarrybowen, BBDO, Deutsch and Grey.
Before focusing her attention on business development, Julie was in account management with diverse category experience. Clients appreciate her ability to navigate complex organizations with intelligence and humor, and great skills in conscensus building. At the same time, creative organizations gravitate to her passion for creativity and pushing boundaries.
At Publicis she will be employing all of this experience with both new and existing clients. Ensuring the growth of the agency through the growth of our client partner’s businesses.
Julie is a member of the 4As New Business Committee and a graduate of the University of Richmond.
