Overview
Company Summary
Our mission is quite simple: Do Things People Love. And the only way to accomplish this is to merge data with an understanding of human behavior. We are a diverse organization of problem solvers who develop brand strategies and go-to-market plans that push the limits of creativity and innovation to create things people love. We are business-minded and results-driven in an ideacentric culture. Our independent ownership allows for strategic investment that drives performance and efficiency. Periscope’s vertically integrated model provides specialized services no other agency in the country can offer. Our full spectrum of capabilities allows us to be nimble omnichannel thinkers as we navigate this new world, and our teams provide unique, in-depth understanding and expertise for every touch point in the consumer journey. We have no profit centers around disciplines, so we can focus on a holistic approach to solving client problems — not solutions rooted in specialty areas.

Peter Nicholson
CCO
Periscope’s first-ever Chief Creative Officer is a well-known industry leader who has collaborated with some of the greatest creative teams in advertising. With a career that spans both coasts, Peter built his portfolio at shops like Goodby Silverstein & Partners and Leagas Delaney before moving into leadership roles at Publicis, J. Walter Thompson, Deutsch NY and other top creative agencies.
Peter has a proven track record of transforming agencies into creative powerhouses. Under his leadership, Publicis New York received the most creative honors in its history. As Chief Creative Officer at Deutsch, he added $500 million in new billings while repositioning one of America’s oldest brands — Tylenol. And during his most recent tenure at McKinney, he developed a strong presence for the agency in New York with the global re-launch of the Crocs footwear brand.
The recipient of every major creative award in the industry, Peter has worked on an impressive roster of clients that includes Macy’s, Cadbury, Johnson & Johnson, Diageo and JetBlue. Among his many notable campaigns are the award-winning IKEA campaign around the election of President Obama, the infamous “What the hell is ANSKY?” campaign for the Adidas sponsorship of the Yankees and Samsung’s brand initiative with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.

EVP / Marketing Analytics

He has offered his cutting-edge thinking to leading names in the retail, consumer product, food service, online and publishing industries, developing tools and methodologies that improve the speed of deployment and depth of insight for client projects.
Prior to his tenure at Anthem, John was a CRM and database marketing strategist for a number of marketing agencies such as Leo Burnett and Wunderman, as well as working as a database-marketing consultant for Kestnbaum Consulting. His clients have included Sears, Equifax, Philip Morris, Citigroup, Motorola, American Airlines and Discover Card. He also served as vice president of analytic and client services for Datawealth, where he helped Sainsbury’s, the second largest UK grocery retailer, create an innovative consumer targeting and offer delivery system based on loyalty card shopping history.
William Simpson
Chairman
Over three decades ago, Bill had the vision to transform a family-owned business into the multifaceted creative company that’s now called Periscope. He did it by assembling some of the best talent in the industry and letting them shine in a culture that encourages fun, hard work and intrapreneurship. More recently, Bill has been instrumental in establishing Periscope’s Hong Kong and Delhi presences. And while he’s finding more time to hone his golf game, Bill still loves it when we surprise our clients by helping them achieve the unachievable. He also loves giving back by supporting numerous nonprofits and community organizations.
Jenifer Anhorn
EVP / Brand Director
Jenifer's no stranger to being at the helm of pretty terrific brands. In her 20+ years as a CMO, brand strategist, client whisperer and all-around marketing maven, she's racked up successes on a mouth-watering list of restaurant and retail brands. As a former client-side CMO, she brings an in-the-trenches perspective to our clients' brands. While serving as Papa Murphy's chief marketing officer, her role incorporated everything from branding and product development to digital, social media and merchandising — and a whole lot in between. It's no wonder she has an innate sense of what it takes to create integrated teams of subject matter experts. All that combined makes Jenifer the ideal person to create impactful marketing programs for our existing clients as well as bring new growth opportunities into their marketing mix.

Victor leads Periscope’s strategy practice area as a curious, compassionate steward of global brands and business. His experience spans more than 15 years at some of the world’s most respected agencies, including Fallon, Deutsch and Ogilvy, where his efforts led to brave work for names like Tylenol, Motrin, Imodium, Huggies, Brawny, Timberland and Depend. Victor believes people are searching for more personalized brand experiences and he loves helping his team connect the strategic dots to tell stories in thoughtful new ways. The communications he’s helped create have been awarded several Cannes Silver Lions, One Show Pencils, Effies and David Ogilvy Research Awards. Victor was born in Brazil, has roots in Minnesota and spent over a decade on the East Coast before trading in the NYC subways for skyways and returning home.
