Sarah Collinson
CEO
Sarah is CEO at Havas NY and she has just joined us from JOAN Creative, where she was Managing Director for 6 years.

Whilst at JOAN the independent creative agency grew from an exciting breakthrough to a formidable, global challenger agency with marquee clients, iconic creative and diverse business units. Under her leadership she drove a 400% increase in revenue, opened and built a thriving studio offering, London office, innovative media department and—most importantly—brilliant creative output. The agency won Small Agency of the Year 2022 (shortlisted in 2023) as well as numerous strategic and creative awards. She was the business lead across all client accounts including global businesses S&P Global, eBay, Virgin Hotels and Fitbit, creating a culture of collaboration, partnership and incredibly tight client relationships.

Before joining JOAN, Sarah was a Global Business Director at Anomaly New York running Diageo globally and led the team that launched and built health & wellness cannabis brand Dosist.

Prior to this she ran accounts at Adam&EveDDB London including John Lewis that won numerous awards, including several Effectiveness Lions at Cannes and the IPA Grand Prix for Effectiveness.

As an empowered working mother and leader she focuses on creating an unapologetically inclusive culture. She has championed new workplace policies, including a month-long sabbatical, and mentors young talent to foster paths for growth.

Dan Lucey
Chief Creative Office & Co-CEO
Dan joined Havas New York as the CCO in December 2020 and recently added Co-CEO to his title, partnering closely with Sarah. He was previously the Executive Creative Director and equity partner at JOAN, where he managed the creative output for Georgia Pacific, Virgin Hotels, General Mills’ Fiber One, Facebook, Walmart, Graduate Hotels, SafeAuto, Hive, Burst and Potential Energy.

Dan believes that the most dangerous thing a brand can do is be boring. Boring gets ignored, boring gets skipped, boring wastes media dollars. The best work connects with an audience in a meaningful way, playing off a cultural truth or tension. The best work reaches an audience through earned media, not just paid.
He formed this point of view from over 20 years of experience at some of the world’s most prestigious agencies. His work has earned multiple gold awards at Cannes, The One Show, D&AD, The ANDY’s, Clios, Art Directors Club, and the Effies. He is also proud that his most recent campaign for General MIlls recorded the greatest turnaround in the brand’s history.

His recent efforts lead JOAN to a 2020 Small Agency of the Year accolade from AdAge, thanks to the agency’s “head turning creative.” He was recently included in Business Insider’s Most Creative People in Advertising Right Now, AdAge’s 40 under 40, and ADWEEK’s Creative 100. His Tide To Go Super Bowl commercial has been named one of the 10 best, on multiple polls.

Before JOAN, Dan joined BBDO New York, and teamed up with Chris Beresford-Hill, as an Executive Creative Director, leading a group that managed all Foot Locker brands, Guinness, Bud Light and priceline.com, helping the flagship office earn multiple AdAge A-List and Creativity A-List appearances, year after year.

Prior to BBDO, Dan lead the Comcast and Google accounts at Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Before that he was at Saatchi & Saatchi New York, where he created some of the agency’s most high-profile, award winning work, for Tide (Talking Stain), Crest (You Can Say Anything With a Smile), and Fruit by the Foot (Replacements). Dan started his career at Mad Dogs & Englishmen, in NY.

When he is not working, he can be found at home spending time with his wife and two children.

Justine Feron
Chief Strategy Officer
Justine Feron is Chief Strategy Officer at Havas New York, where she leads a talented team of strategists across the agency’s clients, including Danone, Keurig Dr Pepper, JBL and New York-Presbyterian.

With more than 15 years of experience, Justine has spent her career advising many of the world’s biggest brands, such as Snickers, Dove, Doritos, Gillette, Häagen-Dazs, and more. Prior to Havas, she spent eight years at Grey New York, most recently as its Head of Brand Strategy. Her work for the agency – across clients ranging from Modelo to Marriott, Pringles to Pantene, and Febreze to Frank’s RedHot – won Lions in Cannes, cleaned up at the Effies, and went to the Super Bowl several times. Earlier in her career she led the strategy team at TAXI New York and honed her craft at both BBDO and Ogilvy.

Justine has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, a journalism degree from Carleton University, and teaches brand strategy at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. Training the next generation of up-and-coming strategists is one of the things she’s most passionate about.

When Justine isn’t working, she’s likely writing – her essays have appeared in outlets including the New York Times and Slate – building couch forts with her two young kids, and slowly sanding down the edges of her Canadian accent (don’t ask her to say roof, about, or sorry!)
