Overview
Company Summary
Fitzco is a true, full-service independent agency that delivers intelligent creative thinking at every level to identify a brand’s inherent goodness and overcome obstacles in their way. This process of harnessing what matters and converting it to what moves people is what we call unleashing a brand’s energy. We implement this process every day on behalf of our partners including French’s Mustard, Cholula Hot Sauce, Hilton Hotels, Welch’s Juices and Spreads, Shoe Carnival, Waymo, Shipt, Checkers & Rally’s, Hamburger Helper, Southern Company, MedExpress and SYLVANIA. In 2022, Fitzco was honored as an Ad Age Small Agency of the Year Gold winner in the 76-150 employee category, a landmark achievement celebrating the agency’s 2nd year as a still newly independent shop.

Dave Fitzgerald
Founder & Chairman
Some leaders have inspiring vision. Others have deep business insight. And still others have a slight, yet completely correctible astigmatism. Dave has all three, which gives Fitzco a perspective that sets it apart. Building businesses is what Dave loves. It’s why he started Fitzgerald & Co in 1983, and why he has helped grow business for clients that span the gamut from MedExpress to Coca-Cola.
Dave has served as president of the Atlanta Advertising Club, chairman of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As)/Atlanta Council, a member of the board of directors of the national 4As, and member of the National Advertising Review Board. Dave currently chairs the board of Saint Joseph’s Health System and is chair-elect of the board of Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. His peers elected him to the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of advertising all-stars as ‘Best Agency Marketing Person and Director’ and was named the ‘Most Admired CEO’ in 2017. Dave has also been named one of the Top 100 Irish-American Business People by ‘Irish America Magazine’ every year since 2004.
Evan Levy
CEO
How many agency CEO's have equal experience in both creative and account/agency management? How many have experience managing at both independent and network-owned agencies? And the real kicker: how many have done it all without ever switching agencies? Evan is in a category of one. His influence has been felt with virtually every decision, every client, every person who’s walked through Fitzco’s doors over the 25 years he’s been a part of the agency’s fabric.
As CEO, Evan is now putting the totality of his agency experience to work on behalf of every client and every corner of the agency as Fitzco looks to double down on 37% growth in 2022.
In addition to his steadfast desire to help Fitzco be a great place to work and grow, he also cares deeply about the Atlanta marketing community. He serves on the Atlanta Council Board of the 4As, and he represents Fitzco as a founding member on the Board of Advertising for Change, a collective of Atlanta agencies driven to make our city the nation’s best for diverse advertising and marketing talent. He’s also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Camp Sunshine, which enriches the lives of Georgia’s children with cancer and their families through recreational, educational and support programs. While proudly and most recently joining the University of Georgia's AdPR Executive Advisory Board, a program committed to preparing the industries upcoming top talent.
Ryan Boblett
Head of Creative
From Checkers & Rally’s, Navy Federal Credit Union, French’s Mustard, and Welch's, Ryan has made a career helping re-invent and grow brands. His passion for creating cultures of creativity has led to hardworking, award-winning work for McDonald’s, Nintendo, Sony, Budweiser, Samsung, Coca-Cola, Miller and more. Ryan is a true strategic creative leader, helping Fitzco architect our process for creative swimming upstream – alignment around strategy and objective sooner so creative can work smarter and faster.
Ryan is a big believer in craft, collaboration and listening, helping him understand what keeps clients up at night and fuel the fire for strategy-focused, award-winning solutions. From integrated campaigns to culturally relevant brand acts, Ryan’s passion for creativity has been recognized across almost every global award show from Cannes to the Effies.
Claire Russell
Head of Media
Claire’s superpower is straight talk - translating complex media speak and empowering clients to make informed decisions.
She spent the first several years of her career focused on performance-based media – from navigating thousands of rows in excel for manual optimizations to eventually leading digital programs for Verizon Wireless and Johnson & Johnson. Claire joined Fitzco in 2016 and quickly built successful search, eCommerce and shopper capabilities from the ground up and spearheaded Fitzco’s acquisition of Constant Analytics (now Fitzco Analytics) in 2021.
As Head of Media, Claire works across Fitzco’s clients and supports new business development where 2/3 of Fitzco growth can be attributed to media wins. She is an expert in digital strategy and technology and leads our media practice to closely partner with comms planning, brand strategy, and creative to develop truly integrated work.
David Matathia
Head of Strategy
David’s holistic and unique perspective on strategy is marked by client and agency-side experiences. A business-grounded approach from his time as Director of Marketing of Hyundai. A channel agnostic mindset from his agency experiences.
This duality of thinking is why he most recently led strategy and account management for Pizza Hut. And it’s why he’s been able to crack the code every single time for the likes of French’s, Welch’s, Coca-Cola, Checkers & Rally’s, Southwest Airlines, Navy Federal Credit Union and MedExpress.
All these experiences have honed David’s culture-infused approach to solving business problems and ability to think strategically across any need – business, marketing, creative or otherwise.
Stephanie Hanley
Head of Account Management
Stephanie is from 84, Pennsylvania (yep, the number 84) and was drawn to New York for college and the start of her career, where she met the love of her life, a Southerner who convinced her to try out the Empire State of the South.
She cares deeply about the creative we make, the consumers we serve, and the clients with whom we partner. Throughout her career she has built relationships and driven business results for The Home Depot, New Balance, Guinness, Red Stripe, Duncan Hines, Vlasic, BOTOX Cosmetic and L’Oreal/Garnier, McCormick, and Coca-Cola. She sat onsite with clients at a Fortune 25 company and, through deep partnership, won their business and trust every single day.
But her biggest achievement is raising two happy and very funny kiddos. And running a marathon. Probably not in that order (the second one was MUCH harder).
Jim Head
Head of Data Science
Jim has architected, refined, implemented, and perfected measurement tools that gauge marketing effectiveness for some of the world's largest brands to include Starbucks, FedEx & AT&T.
As a practitioner, consultant, manager, practice leader and entrepreneur, Jim has deep knowledge of the applications and disciplines needed to provide accurate and consistent assessments of marketing investments.
Jim leads a data & analytics team whose specialty is in helping brands grow their bottom line. This includes marketing mix modeling, propensity modeling, site selection technologies, and data intelligence.
Jeff Quick
Head of Growth
Since 2020, Jeff has led new business efforts at Fitzco. A run that’s contributed to 11 competitive pitch wins and double digit growth each year.
Prior to new business, Jeff led integrated teams for Fitzco across Checkers & Rally’s, Sony Mobile and Synovus. His experiences at Fitzco and McCann NY span many categories to include hospitality, QSR, CPG, tech, financial services, and beauty.
A triple threat with deep experience and relationships across strategy, creative and media, Jeff’s focus and passion has always been in solving client business problems through the tight integration of media and creative thinking.
