This week the ad industry gathers in New York City for Advertising Week to focus on the biggest issues facing agencies and marketers today. At the top of the agenda is gender, diversity and inclusion. On Wednesday, the 4A’s will present research at the four-day gathering on how consumers perceive women in ads during a panel featuring Madonna Badger, founder and chief creative officer at Badger & Winters, who launched the #WomenNotObjects initiative in January.

Many attendees will also take part in the 4A’s Talent 2030 conference focusing on attracting, retaining and developing the best and brightest candidates. Talent 2030 takes place Tuesday, September 27 and Wednesday, September 28. The 4A’s will also release findings from its study about how diverse professionals are treated in the workplace and how consumers perceive diversity in ads during the conference.
