GSD&M Idea City and Cancer Treatment Centers of America Enter Partnership of Purpose

Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA)  and GSD&M Idea City announced today a partnership of purpose. In the new partnership, GSD&M Idea City is tasked with helping CTCA reach more cancer patients and caregivers and to make them aware of unparalleled cancer treatment experience offered at CTCA.

In early 2008, Cancer Treatment Centers of America contacted GSD&M Idea City after reading CEO and founder Roy Spence’s contribution to the national best seller, Mavericks at Work. GSD&M Idea City will join existing partners of CTCA in a collaborative effort to strengthen its messaging around the value of whole person, integrative care to the cancer community.

“GSD&M Idea City excels in helping organizations define and articulate their purpose,” said Jack Moore, chief marketing officer of Cancer Treatment Centers of America. “This partnership will help more families who are fighting cancer to understand the value of the Cancer Treatment Centers of America patient-focused approach to cancer treatment.”

“We were drawn to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America patient treatment model and their commitment and passion for helping patients win the fight against cancer,” said Duff Stewart, COO and president of GSD&M Idea City. “We look forward to working with them in communicating their purpose and helping them reach their communications objectives.”

Founded in 1988, Cancer Treatment Centers of America provides a comprehensive, patient-centered treatment model that fully integrates traditional, state-of-the-art medical treatments with scientifically-supported complementary and alternative therapies such as nutrition, naturopathy, psychological counseling, physical therapy and spiritual support to meet the special, whole-person needs of advanced-stage cancer patients.
