R/GA is pleased to announce today that James Temple has been promoted to Executive Creative Director. In this role, he will help provide strategic direction and promote standards of creative excellence to a multidisciplinary team including art directors, interaction designers, visual designers and copywriters in the London office. He will report to Chris Colborn, EVP, chief experience officer until newly hired managing director, Jim Moffatt, begins in late July.

“Since R/GA London opened its doors, James has been one of the strongest creative forces leading the agency successfully forward. He has an impressive track record and a strong vision that will help us continue to create world-travelling ideas for our clients,” said Colborn.

Prior to this promotion, Temple served as creative director on the Nokia account. In addition, Temple is skilled at creating brand engagements across multiple digital channels, including web, mobile, outdoor and retail.

Temple boasts over a decade of interactive production and design experience. Previously, he held the position of design director at Electronic Ink in the U.S., leading a creative team that pioneered the design of user interfaces for clients including Bank of America, BBC, Microsoft, NYSE, Reuters and Wyeth.
